UPDATE:
POLICE have found the family of a young boy who was roaming lost at Corio this morning.
“Great news everybody, as a result of information received from a friend of this (Eyewatch Facebook) page the young boy and his family from Corio have been reunited,” police said.
“We would like to thank everybody who shared (695 of you) liked (60 of you) and provided information (lots of you) that led to us being able to contact the boys parents and reunite them.
EARLIER:
POLICE are seeking the parents of a child found wandering alone at Corio today.
The young boy, about two or three years old, was found on Purnell Road, Corio near the Cloverdale Community Centre.
He was taken to the Corio Police Station.
Police said he was of Asian descent but were unable to obtain any details in relation to his family or address.
No calls have been received by police about the boy.
