UPDATE:
Corio police say young Jack has been reunited with his mother after “just an amazing response from our post on Eyewatch Geelong” this morning.
Police said the 348 shares of the post along with other information received resulted with Jack now being home with his family.
EARLIER:
Corio Police have asked for urgent public assistance in locating the parents or carers of a toddler found at Corio Village shopping centre this morning.
The youngster, who appreared to be named Jack and aged two, was found at 10.30am.
He toddler is wearing a navy skivvy, green t-shirt and camouflage pants. He was riding a blue balance bike and wearing a black helmet with yellow and pink decals.
Police said he possibly lived to the north of Corio Village.
Police urged anyone with knowledge of the boy by calling Corio Police Station immediately on 52 739 555.
“Jack is at the Corio Police Station and we need to re unite him with his parents,” said Leading Senior Constable Andrew King.
