Buckets and Bouquets

BUCKETS to the female staff member at a Waurn Ponds jeweller who told my son that he would not be able to afford a Mother’s Day gift. He was able to afford it because he purchased the gift at another jeweller that was three times more expensive. Won’t shop there again.
Frustrated, Norlane

BOUQUETS to Rick the security guy on duty at a function at Simonds Stadium on Saturday night. As an asthmatic I was having trouble walking the three ramps up to the rooms. Rick stayed with me to make sure I was okay and Daniel the barman was helpful once I arrived. Both went past their duty of care for me.
Phyl, St Albans Park

BOUQUETS to the lovely people at the Kodak print shop in Geelong West. They are always willing to help with a smile, good prices and excellent prints.
90th Birthday, Geelong West

BOUQUETS to Helen Read from Clever Canines. Helen not only sorted out our issues with our puppy, she was wonderful talking to our son on dog behaviour. Would recommend her to anyone that has dog trouble.
Jo, Waurn Ponds

BOUQUETS to the kind Barwon Water employee I saw helping my son tie his shoe lace after I had dropped him off at school. How lovely, that he noticed my son running along without his laces done up and stopped to tie them for him.
Smiling all day, Highton

BOUQUETS to Christian College students, teachers, parents and musicians in what was an amazing performance of Beauty and the Beast at GPAC. The standing ovation at the final show was so deserved.
Proud, Highton

BOUQUETS to the young lady at Dr Paws Veterinary Clinic for rescuing our elderly cocker spaniel Holly from the traffic jam she caused on Anakie Rd. Thanks also to the motorists and bystanders who assisted in her rescue. We will try to prevent her from escaping again.
Cal, Hamlyn Heights

BUCKETS to Daniel Andrews for continually and intentionally excluding our mayor from major events. We the people of Geelong voted for our mayor and your petty and unbecoming behaviour is a direct insult to us all. You bring shame on the office of leader of our state and you have proved you are unfit to hold this high office.
Disgusted Voter, Belmont

BOUQUETS to the amazing staff at Sir Charles Darling Hotel, especially Leah, for perfect service and assistance with organising our engagement. The only hotel to message me back, and went beyond that by giving us the best price for a large group.
Elli and Ryan, Grovedale

BOUQUETS to the wonderful, helpful young lady working at Belmont drapery. Customers are always greeted with a big welcoming smile.
Happy regular customer, Belmont
