POLICE have pleaded for public help after an ATM card skimmer was found in central Geelong at the weekend.
Around 8am Saturday, an ATM user went to a machine at the Commonwealth Bank on Ryrie Street to withdraw cash.
The victim noticed the machine looked odd and detected a card skimmer attached to the ATM. They pulled the device from the machine and contacted police.
Police inspected the ATMs but did not locate any other device. The Victoria Police Fraud Squad has been notified.
