Totem challenge served up

Patrons will try to ace a world record when Geelong’s Motor City Music Festival serves up 100 totem tennis poles.
Organiser Hugo T Armstrong said he would put his tennis balls on the line with the record attempt on the festival’s family-friendly ‘Funday Sunday’.
“We want to attempt a world record for the most people playing totem tennis at the same time. We’ll have 100 poles and we want mums, dads, kids, grandparents, everyone to front up and hit their way into the record books.”
Mr Armstrong said other Funday Sunday attractions alongside live music would include a craft beer hall, cider and wine bars, food trucks, a children’s stage, free carnival rides and historical displays.
“And the best bit is kids are admitted free,” he said.
