Denis Napthine: why you should vote coalition

ONLY the Napthine Coalition can be trusted to deliver for the Geelong community.
My government has built a strong economy, enabling us to provide better health care, schools, public transport, roads and community safety.
Locally, 60 extra police have been deployed, we built the $15.6 million Waurn Ponds police station and SES complex, and PSOs are patrolling Geelong Railway Station.
We’ve invested significantly in local health and education and are working hard to provide job opportunities and grow Geelong’s economy.
We secured the NDIA national headquarters for Geelong, creating over 300 jobs, and will relocate the Victorian WorkCover Authority to Geelong, creating 550 more.
The ABS relocation to Geelong and new Energy Australia call centre create an additional 550 jobs.
Only we will build East West Link to provide the vital second river crossing as well as investing in local roads.
We’ve also improved public transport and have acted to ease the cost of living.
We’ve halved ambulance subscriptions, increased stamp duty concessions and reduced utility costs, including $50 reductions on water bills.
We will support families with an annual $100 rebate on kinder fees.
We will invest $35 million on upgrading Geelong Performing Arts Centre and $5 million on a new Geelong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Our Geelong team – Andrew Katos, Paula Kontelj, Tony McManus and Ron Nelson – will work hard to make this great region even better.
Geelong has always been a special place for me and I am committed to seeing this wonderful region prosper and grow.

Denis Napthine MP
Premier of Victoria
