Buckets and bouquets

Bouquets to the East Geelong Men’s Shed for creating an excellent cabinet for my DVD player. None of the megastores could supply a cabinet tiny enough for my requirements.
Irene, East Geelong

Bouquets to my beautiful friend of 10 years, Di. She is the only person who asks nothing of me other than to be myself. She forgives me no matter what and makes me feel worthy in this world. I love you.
XO, Leopold

Buckets to drivers who parked cars in front of garbage bins, obstructing trucks trying to collect waste. They couldn’t empty the bins. How would you feel if you had to keep your rubbish another week, or green waste two weeks, especially if the bins were full? Please be considerate.
Not Happy, Corio

Bouquets to Oberon High School for a really nice final assembly for year-12 students. The barbecue afterward was lovely. Best wishes to all the students for the future.
Grandma, Grovedale

Bouquets to the staff at Newtown’s The Ark, especially Suzi. Honest and reliable advice is always given to customers about the clothes they try. The clothes are also designed and made in Australia, which is a refreshing change.
I Will Return, Ocean Grove

Buckets to V/Line. Last Saturday night an attendant announced that anyone who needed to “spew” would have their nose rubbed in it if they did it on a seat. A young girl who did spew was paraded to the toilet and berated on the way. What a thing to witness.
Mark, Lara

Buckets to a shonky removalist and his verbally abusive employee who attempted to blackmail me before abandoning my booking. Bouquets to Ocean Grove Removals for squeezing me in at the last minute. Ken and Jason were friendly, efficient and a pleasure to deal with. I am grateful to them.
Moved House, Jan Juc

Buckets to the low-life who stole a rose bush from South Barwon Medical Centre’s garden. You must have come prepared with a shovel because a neat hole with dig marks was left behind. Why?
Sad Gardener Helen, Highton

Buckets to an inconsiderate idiot who parked in a disabled park in Melbourne to get his clothes laundered. Then he decided it was funny to be was caught out. Where’s the respect, people?
Melissa, Newcomb
