A REPEAT of the region’s devastating 1995 flood is “quite likely” with more heavy rain forecast, according to a Geelong weatherman.
Geelong Weather Services’ Lindsay Smail predicted “constant rain” in the next few days after heavy downpours flooded low-lying areas near the Barwon River in the city this week.
“The Barwon River isn’t going to go down too quickly as there is still more rain over the next few days in Geelong,” Mr Smail said.
