An Easter Charity Restaurant on Queenscliff Pier has earned national acclaim, according to organisers.
Charity Restaurant spokesman Scott Talbot said the response to the six days and nights of charity dining was “extraordinary”.
“We were full at all our lunches, and dinners were all booked out,” Mr Talbot said.
Charity Restaurant began on Good Friday in conjunction with an annual Queenscliff Seafood Feast.
Proceeds from restaurant sittings will to causes including hospitals in Geelong and Melbourne.
The Independent was set to host the final dinner after going to press on Wednesday for Starlight Children’s Foundation.
Mr Talbot said the restaurant drew glowing reviews from diners.
“The entertainment has been fantastic, the seafood has been exceptional and the week has been an exciting experience,” he said
“It’s been the most exciting seafood experience on the Bellarine Peninsula and we’re definitely considering if again for next year.”
