Cop charged over Colac assault

A POLICE sergeant has been charged following an investigation into an alleged assault in Colac on 3 August.

The policeman from the Western Region was charged with one count of unlawful assault.

He has been suspended without pay and will appear at Geelong Magistrates’ Court on 17 December, 2013.
