Police are hunting three males who held up two teenage girls working in a Corio milkbar.
Police alleged the trio escaped with cash after robbing the Sharland Street shop about 6.30pm Tuesday.
The males had ordered the 18 and 13-year-old girls to open a cash register.
“The two girls ran to the rear of the shop and the males took cash from the till as well as a quanity of cigarettes from a dispenser,” a police spokesperson said.
“A person who came into the shop saw the three fleeing and said that one was carrying a knife.”
The spokesperson said police believed the three robbers fled through nearby parkland.
Police urged anyone with information to phone Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
