A charity garage sale at Newcomb’s Amazing Mill Markets next week will raise money for the city’s cancer centre as it treats market owner Mark Ward.
Mr Ward has been undergoing treatment at Andrew Love Cancer Centre, with his stall holders keen to show their appreciation for its care of the popular businessman.
Garage sale spokesperson Heidi Wane said more stall holders were wanted.
All proceeds from the $15 charge for stalls would go to the cancer centre, she said.
The charity garage sale will run from 7.30am to 1pm on Saturday, 26 October, in the car park of Amazing Mill Markets, at 114 Bellarine Hwy, Newcomb.
Ms Wane said anyone wanting to operate a stall could phone her on 0419 387 984 or 5255 2562.
