Buckets&Bouquets

BOUQUETS to a lovely couple for giving our family four tickets to the Geelong show when we parked next to them. Their kindness was much appreciated. Buckets to me for waiting so long to thank them.
Lucky Parker, Geelong West

BOUQUETS to all the kind people who assisted me after an accident at the intersection of Malop and Yarra Sts on 28 February. God bless you all.
Driver Of Blue Car, Corio

BOUQUETS to three girls and a boy in Helena St for coming to the aid of my wife after she tripped while walking our dog. They tended to her injuries, brought her home and waited until I arrived.
Peter, Highton

BOUQUETS to Sandi, Rachael, Kathy, Helen and Noel for their enormous help, kindness, care and support when I was knocked off my bicycle in Ocean Grove. I am sorry a newspaper story on the incident failed to mention them.
Ann Marrie, Ocean Grove

BUCKETS to Surf Coast Shire, the “place of wellbeing”, or is it? I raised the issue of dead fish along a Barwon River walking path but five days passed and they were still there. Oh, how ratepayers love the perfume when their dogs roll in the fish.
David, Winchelsea

BUCKETS to Fuming Mother (Buckets & Bouquets, 1 March). For your information, your son took my six-year-old daughter’s bag from a table behind my back. My other daughter saw him. When we caught up he was wearing a badge from inside the bag. Fume at your son.
Misunderstood Mother, Corio

BOUQUETS to Geelong Cemetery Trust for adding soil and grass near my parents’ grave. Now I can visit them again. The renovations with the new paths were wonderful but left the lawn section lower than the concrete, so I was unable to access mum and dad’s grave in my wheelchair.
Lynne, East Geelong

BOUQUETS to Hi-Gain Antennas for a terrific job and great after-sales service. Richard and Mark provided instructions and prompt follow-up when requested. It is a professional, well-run business.
Jenny, Ocean Grove
