Show magic brought to residents

Ocean Grove’s Sea Views Manor brought the magic and excitement of the Royal Geelong Show to its residents on Thursday 16 October.

The morning festivities kicked off in true Show Day style with visits from special guests, ponies Tinkerbell and Storm and four-week-old lamb Winston, who melted hearts everywhere he went.

Residents and staff alike got into the spirit with face painting, show-themed decorations, and fun costumes to brighten the day even more.

No show day is complete without tasty treats and residents enjoyed delicious homemade jam donuts, hot dogs, fresh popcorn, and icy frozen drinks, bringing the full carnival experience to life.

The fun continued with a range of carnival-style games, including Plinko, 3-in-a-Row, Lucky Wheel, Tin Can Slam, and a classic Guessing Booth. Laughter filled the air as residents tried their luck and took home a variety of prizes.

Bringing the show to the residents gave everyone the chance to reminisce about past experiences, celebrate community, and enjoy some good old-fashioned fun. It was a joyful reminder that no matter our age, there’s always room for a bit of festivity and flair.
