Musical Mornings will return to delight Geelong audiences next month with critically acclaimed artists and tributes to the stars.
The season opens with the Syncopators chronicling the musical life of one of the most popular artists of the 20th Century, Bing Crosby.
A Tribute to Bing Crosby features a range of hits from the prolific performer, from his his stint as one of the Rhythm Boys, to the 30s and 40s where he became a household name.
The tribute plays at Geelong Performing Arts Centre at 10.30am on 2 and 3 August.
Then in September the multi-award-winning music theatre actress Rachael Beck will bring her critically acclaimed show This Girl to the Playhouse stage.
In October it’s The Peter Allen Songbook tribute with songs from Peter Allen and friends, including hits from Judy Garland and Liza Minelli.
Then the Choir of Hard Knocks, consisting of homeless and disadvantaged people, will hit the stage under the guidance of conductor Jonathan Welch in November.
And as always the season will finish on a festive note with the Gaslight Company’s Christmas Extravaganza.
