Australian Hearing has a comprehensive range of services.

AUSTRALIAN Hearing has Geelong seniors covered.
The service is the nation’s leading hearing specialist and largest provider of government-funded hearing services.
With three large offices in Geelong, Belmont and Bell Post Hill, it offers convenient access to a wide range of services.
Australian Hearing also services Grovedale, Leopold, Lara, Drysdale, Ocean Grove, Bannockburn, Torquay, Winchelsea and Apollo Bay by appointment.
Manager Rosslyn Jablonsky says Australian Hearing has helped many local seniors.
“We’ve been in Geelong since the mid-1980s, so we’ve been serving the Geelong area for 30 years,” she says.
Services include assessments, fitting hearing devices and providing counselling and rehabilitative programs so eligible customers can manage hearing impairments.
“We also offer assistive devices to help with TV, telephones and alarms,” Ms Jablonsky says.
“Our tinnitus management program can also help people suffering from noises in their ears or head.”
Australian Hearing offers both group and individual rehabilitative sessions.
“Seniors have a great time in the group sessions, they meet new people and share experiences with other seniors,” Ms Jablonsky says.
Information about eligibility for Australian Hearing services is available from any of the three offices or by calling 131 797.
“Eligible clients receive a voucher, which entitles them to an assessment with an accredited audiologist,” Ms Jablonsky says.
Australian Hearing is open 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday at: 13/200 Malop St, Geelong; 2/33 Thomson St, Belmont; and shop 7 Bell Post Hill Shopping Centre, 290-306 Anakie Rd, Norlane.
